What’s to say? I’m simply a mom that loves to cook a variety of meals during the week for my husband & 2 boys . I like to save dollars when I can, without becoming an extreme couponer (I don’t have time or patience for that)!  I attempt to make the majority of my meals out of simple ingredients to make meals fast and decently healthy.

Recently, due to some personal health issues, my husband and I have been rotating between a whole 30 diet and a paleo diet. It’s basically looking at your plate at each meal and doing the following: fill it 3/4 with fibrous carbs (not complex carbs), have a palm sized piece of protein, have a healthy fat (for us it’s olive oil, coconut oil or organic butter), and having a piece of fruit. When we are consuming paleo, we add some sugar during the week in the form of honey or maple syrup. That’s it!

I will be sharing my successful and non-successful whole 30 and paleo recipe finds as well as other recipes that I use that are non-paleo related. I hope you will try some of the successful ones out!
